Webinar Purpose:
In preparing for ICD-10-PCS, it is important that coding professionals start learning the terms and definitions needed to properly assign procedure codes. Many of the terms utilized in ICD-10-PCS have been defined and streamlined and may be different from what has been used in the past. This series focuses on definitions and descriptions necessary to get ready to use ICD-10-PCS. We will discuss definitions, descriptions and examples of each group of root operations, approaches and devices.
This session will begin with root operations that take out some or all of a body part and those that take out solids, fluids or gasses from a body part.
